The West Point Golf Course is an 18-hole,
Par 70 course that measures 5,991 yards from the back tees. The course was originally designed by Robert
Trent Jones Sr. and opened for play in 1948.
The course was renovated and reopened in 1997. It has a course rating of 70.6 and a slope of
136 and is located on the Academy grounds.
The West Point course was designed and
built on hilly terrain and is surrounded by a forest of beautiful mature tree
lined fairways and some well-placed bunkers.
The greens are well protected with sand and plenty of trees. The course is enjoyable and challenging for
the everyday golfer with plenty of risk/reward opportunities to choose from.
This is a
must play golf course. Don’t miss the

The golf
course is open to the public.
