Fort Eustis, Virginia

he Pines at Fort Eustis has three 9-hole courses that are usually played as an 18-hole course.  The courses are: the Virginia Pine Course, the Ponderosa Pine Course, and the Shortleaf Pine Course.   All of the course designers are not known.  All of the courses are carved out of a forest of natural pine trees and have breathtaking views of the Warwick River which is home to many species of wildlife.  The courses have numerous species of trees that are spread out the entire course.

Ponderosa Pine/Shorteaf Pine:  This is the original 18-hole layout, a Par 71 course that measures 6,541 yards and has a rating of 70.2 and a slope of 119. The designer is unknown.  The course opened in 1952.

Shortleaf Pine/ Virginia Pine:    This is an 18-hole, Par71 course that measures 6,374 yards and has a rating of 69.9 and a slope of 118.  The course opened in 1954.

Virginia Pine/Ponderosa Pine:   This is an 18-hole, Par 72 course that measures 6,977 yards and has a rating of 72.7 and a slope of 124.  This course opened in 1997.


All golf courses are open to the public.
