The Three Eagles Golf Course is an 18-hole,
Par 72 course that measures 6,375 yards from the back tees. The course has a rating of 70.5 and a slope
of 127. The designer is unknown and the
course open in 1959.
The course
is short in distance but tough in scoring.
Four sets of tees allow for a great golf experience at any skill
level. The course has tight fairways,
strategic landing areas, and well bunkered “postage stamp” greens. This well-maintained, Eastern Carolina
woodland and wetland layout is a traditional golf layout. It makes for a style of golf that is both
challenging and fair. It has four ponds and
a creek that comes into play on several holes.
The course has nine dogleg fairways and almost all of them are tree
lined with Carolina pines.
The golf
course is also open to the public.
