The Riverview Golf Course is a 9-hole,
Par35 course that measures 3,051 yards from the men’s tees. This 9-hole course
has two sets of tees and is usually played as an 18-hole, Par 70 course at
6,064 yards. The course was designed by
Royce Hewitt and opened in 1959. The
current course is rated at 69.9 and has a slope of 112.
The nine
hole course has trees lining the wide fairways, and the greens are small and
difficult to read. Subtle obstacles such
as trees, sand bunkers and water hazards can alter your shots at any given
time. The signature hole is the majestic
#5 hole, a 549 yard Par 5. It requires
shots up a dogleg right fairway that narrows as you near the small sloping
green. For a 9-hole course, it can be
very challenging at times.
The golf
course is open to the public.
