The Sewells Point Golf Course is an 18-hole,
Par 71 course that is 6,290 yards from the back tees. It has a rating of 69.4 and a slope of
120. The course was designed by the
famous golf course architect Donald Ross in 1927.
The course
is a mostly flat terrain, a traditional Donald Ross design, with tight tree
lined fairways and water hazards that come into play on several holes. The short layout has adequate length and some
holes are a real challenge and also interesting. But overall, the course has some real beauty
and can be somewhat forgiving. A challenging
course for all skill levels.
The golf
course is open to the public.
