The Lindsey Golf Course is an 18-hole, Par
72 course that is 6,843 yards from the back tees and has a rating of 72.6 and a
slope of 135. The course was designed by
Buck Blankenship/Morgan Boggs and opened in 1933. The course has undergone several renovations
and additions making it a destination golf course.
The course
offers rolling hills and contoured Bermuda grass fairways with narrow landing
areas for the long hitters, and wide generous fairways for the short hitters. It has two new lakes that are strategically
placed to enhance the golf course aesthetics.
There are many risk/reward opportunities throughout the course to
challenge all golfers. The course has
numerous scenic views throughout the course, like the black iron bridge and the
gold depository.
The golf
course is open to the public.
