Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri

The Royal Oaks Golf Course originally a 9-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in the 1950’s.  The second nine holes were designed by Donald Sechrest in the 1990’s and are intertwined with the old nine.  The present course is an 18-hole, Par 72 course that measures 6,880 yards from the back tees and has a rating of 74.7 with a slope of 134.

The golf course is positioned on 350 acres of the Knob Noset State Park in the rolling hills of west central Missouri.  It is narrow, hilly, has lush vegetation and numerous large mature trees throughout the course.  It features Bermuda fairways and the Soil Based Bent Grass greens.  With water hazards coming into play on three holes the course can be a challenge for all skill levels.

The golf course is located off the air base and is open to the public.
