White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico

The White Sands Golf Course is an 12 Hole (that’s right, a 12 hole) course, Par 73 that measures 6,822 yards from the back tees.  Some holes must be played again but from different tees.  With a course rating of 71.4 and a slope of 123.  The original course designer is not known but the course opened for play in 1962.

It is known as the “White Sands Missile Range Golf Course” set at the base of the Organ Mountains.  It has majestic views of the desert, mountains and military facilities.  The course has beautiful fairways, greens and plenty of sand, with wide open fairways and known for its fast accessible greens.  Also known as “the best kept secret in the southwest” this course is definitely a very unique course that you will enjoy playing.

The golf course is open to the public.  After a security check the golfer can get a six month pass to play golf.
