Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Maryland

The Cedar Pointe Golf Course is an 18-hole, Par 72 course that measures 6,714 yards from the back tee and has a rating of 71.6 with a slope rating of 124.  The original course designer is Ault Clark Associates and was built and opened in 1946.

This course features an open and winding layout, with Bermuda fairways and Bent grass greens which are located amid a wooded landscape.  With water hazards, trees, sand bunkers, many scenic views of the bay, the course is challenging and still enjoyable to play.  The fairways are Bermuda grass and the greens are bent grass which makes hunting a little different.  The course is open all year round, weather permitting.

The golf course is open to the public.
