Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania

The Carlisle Barracks Golf Course is an 18-hole, Par 72 course that plays 6,670 yards from the back tees.  The course was designed by a Col. Murphy and originally opened in 1963.  The current course has a rating of 71.2 with a slope of 119.

Known as the home of the Army War College, the layout of the course is wide open fairway and greens.  Some green side bunkers can cause you troubles.  The fairways are not cut often enough and at times it is hard to distinguish the rough from the fairway.  The course is still enjoyable but definitely a challenge.

The course is open to the public.
