The Whispering Pines Golf Course is a 9-hole,
Par 35 course that measures 2,598 yards from the back tees. With two sets of tees, the course usually
plays as an 18 hole course. The course
originally opened in 1959 but the course designer is unknown.
The golf
course layout is a countryside design and was built through a wooded area. With narrow Blue Grass fairways and Bermuda
greens plus water hazards that come into play on some holes. The signature hole is the #18 hole, a 480
yard, Par 5, featuring a dogleg fairway.
The golf
course is open to the public.
