The Eagle Haven Golf Course is an 18-hole,
Par 71 course that is 6,265 yards from the back tees and has a rating of 70.8
with a slope of 126. The course was designed
by Russell Breeden & Navy Seabees and opened in 1954. The course was renovated in 1986.
The golf
course design is a fairly flat layout with wide open Bermuda fairways and small
greens. Sand bunkers and water hazards
run throughout the course. The course
uses native oak trees, natural elevations, and picturesque views of the
Chesapeake Bay to relax you and make this course an enjoyable but challenging round
of golf.
The golf
course is open to the military and their guests only.
