The Tijeras Arroyo Golf Course is an 18-hole,
Par-72 course that measures 6,971 yards from the back tees. The course has a rating of 71.9 with a slope
of 127. The designer is unknown at this
time and the course originally opened in 1970.
The course was chosen as the best AFMC in 2001.
The golf
course is a desert layout that is located in the shadows of the Monzano Mountains. With natural picturesque beauty and an array
of desert landscaping, mountain views, the greens and fairways are lined with
numerous trees and desert vegetation.
The golf
course is open to the public.
