The Eagle View Golf Course is an 18-hole,
Par 72 course that measures 6,125 yards from the back tees and has a rating of 69.4
with a slope of 122. The course was
designed by Donald Laughlin/Bill Kendall, and was opened in 1966.
The course
was designed and built to use the rolling hills, wooded areas, and the creeks
and ponds of the surrounding Indiana farm land.
It is located around large corn fields and farm houses. The course fairways are lined with mature
trees and bushes. Water hazards come
into play on several holes. The greens are
large and well bunkered so accuracy is a must.
The golf
course is located off the naval base and is open to the public.
