The Fox Run Golf Course is an 18-hole, Par
72 course that measures 5,913 yards from the back tees and have a rating of
68.6 and a slope of 122. The designer of
the golf course is not known but the course originally opened for play in 1930.
The course
was designed with Bermuda grass fairways and greens. It has many natural hazards as it travels
through the post and the housing areas.
The course has many mature trees, bushes and numerous flower beds and
landscaping. It is a shot maker course,
with wide fairways, tree lined, medium size greens. The varying degree of difficulty promises a
memorable golf experience for both the novice and the experienced golfer alike.
Barksdale
Air Force Base has an outstanding outside and inside air museum and a must see before
you leave the base.
The Golf
course is restricted to military personnel and their guests only.
